I have been slack. I know. Too bad.
Well, first thing first. Happy New Year. Well, it's rather late, but just in time for the Chinese New Year. Tonight as I write this, I'm back at the parents home for Chinese New Year's eve feast. Too bad though, it's not as crowded as I would like it to be as both my sisters are away from home. Still, it's nice to be at home. I must say we have plenty of food and cakes for the celebration.
Tomorrow will be the day we go around to the relatives and greet them Happy New Year, and ahem, since I am still unmarried, I get those Red Angpaos! Yaay..=). Silver lining in being unmarried I guess..
I got myself a few tops with "red" elements and a pair of red sandals. May all the good luck bestowed upon me.
You must be wondering what I have been up to for the lack of posting. Well, Christmas holiday went by and past just like that. I was at work except for the statutory holidays. It was nice being in the office then, and I actually got a lot done with most people being away from the office for their year end holiday. No telephones. No emails. It was bliss. Mind you, I got a lot done.
And surprisingly, when it came the New Year, I was beaming with high spirit for work. I have never worked so hard before and yet enjoying it at the same time. I was really enjoying work. I think everything starts to fall into the right places. I am hoping this is the year for the big bang.
My sister's homecoming for the Christmas holiday kept me busy. She's getting hitched at the end of the year, so I was helping her (read: become her driver) to go around to different vendors for her wedding. Place for reception, check. Photographers, check. Videographers, check. The remaining, well, still to be done. Oh, wait. Groom, check. It was really fun helping her out. This sister of mine is kinda like me, so when she knows what she wants, she just went for it.
I have also moved to an apartment in Gading. Yes, I know. Of all places, I had to pick Gading. Oh well, as much as the traffic is bad most of the time, it's not too bad. It's more spacious to whatever I was having before.
I'm turning the big 3 in a week's time. I wasn't going to do anything big, but I changed my mind and decided to hold a party in X2 on the friday night, so that the celebration starts at the stroke of midnight. Can't wait.
I am hoping that this year will be more eventful. 2008 went by so fast. I fell in love, out of love and still in love. I'm wishing that 2009 will be by far a greater year than 2008. Here's cheers to 2009, and oh, me turning into one hot 30th girl. ;-). Yes, I am proud to say how old I am. What's there to be ashamed of? =)
Cheers people.
